Mercer Area Library is located in Mercer, Pennsylvania approximately 60 miles north of Pittsburgh and 60 miles south of Erie. Mercer Area Library strives to provide educational, informational, and recreational materials, programs and services to the residents of the Mercer Area School District and surrounding areas. Library cards are free to residents of Mercer Boro and the townships of Coolspring, East Lackawannock, Findley and Jefferson. The Friends of the Mercer Area Library will hold their annual Ice Cream Social on Friday, July 24 from 6-9 PM. This event is held on the Courthouse lawn in conjunction with the Friday night Band Concerts. A selection of pies and cakes will be available with ice cream and toppings. |
